I view the counseling process as a
cooperative venture with clients to discover the nature of their
problems and to provide them with an opportunity for healthy change.
According to my theoretical orientation, the problems one
experiences are caused influenced and intensified by relational
issues. I believe that people are designed to relate in
self-giving and fulfilling ways, which is the source of their
greatest joys and deepest struggles. During the course of
therapy we will look into how your relational style interferes with
your ability to experience a satisfying life. This process may
be disruptive, yet is meant to provide you with hope, for we will
not only deal with the problem itself, but it's source. |
